This refusal was provided in response to a request from MP Nina Yuzhanina, who stated that he does not see how this information is related to parliamentary duties, writes the official.

The MP noted that Smilyanskiy himself receives a monthly salary exceeding 1.5 million UAH. This situation is outrageous, as "Ukrposhta" is a loss-making enterprise.

Additionally, members of the Supervisory Board of "Ukrposhta," apart from government officials, receive a monthly remuneration of 165,090 UAH, as per the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution. The chairman of the board also receives an additional 20% bonus for fulfilling extra responsibilities.

"Ukrposhta" also reimburses expenses related to the functions of Supervisory Board members. For example, in December 2021, these expenses totaled 101,086 UAH for all board members combined.

The Supervisory Board includes Deputy Minister of Community and Territory Development Timur Tkachenko, as well as Rinat Abdrasilov, Geri John Carroll, Elena Malinska, Igor Mityukov, and Sergey Derkach.

Against this backdrop, the salaries of "Ukrposhta" postal workers appear modest, ranging from 7,200 to 11,450 UAH per month, depending on the region.

Despite the outrage over the high salaries of management, "Ukrposhta's" financial report for 2023 indicates that the company has increased its net income by 1.3 billion UAH, reaching 11.6 billion UAH. This represents a 12% increase compared to 2022. These figures are confirmed by an independent international auditor.
