The special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that an audit of war expenses will be conducted in both Ukraine and the United States to ensure effective resource utilization. He emphasized the importance of monitoring financial flows, adding that this would guarantee the proper allocation of the funds provided.

Commenting on President Zelensky's assertion that half of the U.S. aid has not reached Ukraine, Kellogg noted that the U.S. has provided over 174 billion dollars to Ukraine. He also mentioned that inspectors are working in both Ukraine and the U.S. to track where this money is going.

"We have a fairly accurate report on the use of these funds. Part of it has been spent on creating weapon systems in the U.S. that are then sent to Ukraine," emphasized Trump's special representative in an interview with Fox News.

Additionally, Kellogg stressed the necessity of holding elections in Ukraine, highlighting the importance of maintaining democratic processes even in the challenging conditions of war.

At the same time, the U.S. special representative stated that the prospect of returning nuclear weapons to Ukraine has extremely low chances. He commented on Volodymyr Zelensky's suggestion of such a possibility in the event of delays in Ukraine's NATO membership.

Kellogg's Statements on Peace Negotiations

U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, made a statement regarding peace negotiations. He believes that both sides will need to make concessions if they hope to reach an agreement to resolve the war. Kellogg stated that Zelensky is ready to concede, particularly regarding territories.

In February, Kellogg reaffirmed his prediction about the end of the war in Ukraine within 100 days. He mentioned the possible use of "pressure leverage" not only against Moscow but also against Kyiv.

As is known, Trump tasked his special representative Keith Kellogg to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days. Trump also threatened Russia with additional sanctions if Putin does not sign a peace agreement.
