SubscribeThis information is being reported by Telegram channels and media outlets citing their own sources. Additionally, former Romanian border guards' Facebook groups are discussing numerous fugitives evading from Ukraine, including those from law enforcement agencies.
In one of these public groups, Arshavin is mentioned. This information has also been confirmed through social media and declarations that are publicly available for NABU detectives.
Currently, the leadership of NABU has not commented on this situation, which could be perceived as a degradation of the anti-corruption agency or even as treason.
“Who knows, maybe tomorrow Arshavin will be giving interviews to Russians, just like the border guard from Transcarpathia who fled to Hungary in the fall of 2023 and turned out to be an agent of Russian special services. Could it be that Detective Arshavin left for a long-term European assignment with the employer's permission? What kind of chaos is happening in NABU, and why are people fleeing from there?” – media outlets are questioning.
