According to Glavkom, citing the court registry, Borisov, who has been in pre-trial detention for 15 months, has been trying to secure disability status. The former recruiter's lawyers have been working diligently to obtain medical documents for him and arrange for an examination to establish a disability group.

It has been revealed that Borisov has already been discharged from the Armed Forces due to health issues, which means that if he is placed under house arrest or given another lenient measure, he will be able to cross the border freely.

The attorneys assert that Borisov has serious health problems and requires medical supervision—from an angiologist to a cardiologist. Meanwhile, the court has kept him in custody but reduced the bail amount from nearly 70 million to 39.3 million UAH. If this amount is paid, Borisov will be able to regain his freedom.
