SubscribeAs reported by "Nashi Hroshi," the road, which will be 4.3 km long, will start from Lobanovsky Avenue and extend to the airport itself. The asphalt promised will be special – with the addition of polymers and a surface designed for our harsh conditions.
In the first phase, 2.8 km of road will be constructed with two lanes, a bike lane, a safety lane, and sidewalks. Additionally, there will be a pedestrian bridge, traffic lights, and sewage treatment facilities. Overall, 7.38 million UAH has been allocated for the design part, while construction works are estimated at 1.56 billion UAH. The completion of the first phase is expected by mid-2026.
Those intending to participate in the tender need to present a solid track record: the availability of necessary equipment, experience working with urban roads, and a net income of no less than 467 million UAH in 2023. Companies have already begun submitting requests for clarification of technical requirements and asking for adjustments to the project.

The project was initiated back in 2010 in preparation for Euro 2012. At that time, the first contract worth 174 million UAH was awarded to the company "Ukratomenergo," but the road was never completed. In 2017, the contractor received a new contract, but out of 200 million UAH, only 137 million UAH was paid.
Now the work has resumed, but it remains uncertain how reasonable it is to spend such amounts of money at this time.
