In discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, there has never been any mention of cringe-worthy plans to divide Ukraine into three parts, which allegedly the Russian Federation is preparing for the Trump administration. This indicates that the Americans either did not receive such plans or do not take them seriously. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry, Georgiy Tikhiy, during a briefing on November 21.
"Our partners have not mentioned any maps in our meetings. We have not heard anything like that from them. This could indicate either that such maps were not passed to them or that if someone did try to convey them, they likely did not take it seriously," Tikhiy said.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the division of Ukraine is an old fantasy of Russian rulers. Back in 2004, the Russians used similar rhetoric while developing the election campaign for pro-Russian presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovych. It seems symbolic that the Russians brought this up on the eve of the anniversary of the Orange Revolution, which began as a protest against the blatant falsifications of elections committed by the authorities to create a majority for Yanukovych.
"Ukraine is united and indivisible. There will never be any sorts, parts, or divisions. Ukraine is a country unified within its internationally recognized borders. Therefore, there is no talk of any maps or divisions. If someone has such unhealthy fantasies, we can only advise them to keep those fantasies to themselves and not share them with anyone," Tikhiy emphasized.
During the briefing, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also mocked Russian propagandist Zakharova, who received a phone call with instructions on what to say regarding the intercontinental ballistic missile strike on Dnipro during a live broadcast on November 21.
"I also have a phone, but no one calls me during briefings," Tikhiy stated. - "We do not need to coordinate: how to lie today so that it does not contradict what we lied about yesterday."
Earlier, Interfax-Ukraine, citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence circles, reported that the Kremlin is allegedly preparing a cringe-worthy proposal for the Trump administration, suggesting that Ukraine be divided into three parts:
"In our opinion, all these statements and anonymous reports in the media are a smokescreen to cover up aggression. Russia has not changed its plans; it wants to destroy Ukraine. It speaks the language of ultimatums. It is also not ready for any constructive dialogue or peace. Russia is not prepared for this; Russia seeks war," Georgiy Tikhiy concluded.
