A resident of Zhovti Vody has been accused of stealing from a pensioner; the woman has been officially charged.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

It was revealed that the woman was visiting a 61-year-old man and noticed two bank cards on the table. The trusting host kept a note with the PIN code alongside the cards. The woman took possession of the victim's property while he was in another room and withdrew 28 thousand hryvnias from one of the cards within two days. She spent the money on her own needs.

In agreement with the Zhovti Vody District Prosecutor's Office, the offender has been informed of the suspicion of committing criminal offenses under part 4 of Article 185 and part 1 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
