The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, shared details of his meeting with the elected President of the USA, Donald Trump. He described it as "good and productive," noting that the American leader is firmly determined.
The meeting took place on December 7 at the Élysée Palace in Paris, where the leaders of the USA and Ukraine were welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron. It is known that the meeting lasted about 35 minutes. Following the meeting, Zelensky thanked Trump for his decisiveness and Macron for organizing this trilateral meeting.
"A good, productive meeting with President Trump and President Macron. President Trump, as always, is firmly determined. Thank you for that. I also thank President Macron for organizing this meeting in Paris," emphasized the Ukrainian leader.

The President added that during the conversation, they discussed the situation on the battlefield and the need for a just peace for Ukraine. The parties also agreed to continue working towards accelerating the end of the war.
"We talked about our people, the situation on the battlefield, and a just peace for Ukraine. We all want to end this war as quickly and fairly as possible. We agreed to keep working together. Peace through strength is possible," highlighted Zelensky.
The visit of Volodymyr Zelensky to Paris was announced a few days ago. This planned trip included participation in cultural events, specifically the inauguration of the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral. He was also set to meet with Emmanuel Macron and Donald Trump. The goal was to consolidate international support to strengthen Ukraine's position on the global stage and to end the war.
Recently, a Ukrainian delegation led by the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, was on an official visit to the United States. During the trip, Yermak visited Washington, New York, and Florida. In the USA, he met with representatives of Donald Trump's team to discuss Russia's plans and ways to neutralize the enemy.
Previously, Informator reported that Zelensky is seeking new diplomatic solutions to maintain good relations with Donald Trump. He is actively adapting to the political situation in the USA and Europe, attempting to place the blame on Vladimir Putin in the event of any failure of peaceful initiatives. Additionally, the Ukrainian leader continues to demonstrate his readiness for negotiations while underscoring that peace must be just for Ukraine.
Informator analyzed that Trump could realistically end the war within 24 hours, even though this currently seems impossible. However, the price would be too high – the USA would have to make concessions to Russia regarding its strategic demands.
