This behavior is a clear indication of absolute cynicism, writes political expert Valentin Gladkikh.

“Petro Oleksiyovych appeared at the premiere of the film 'Bucha' in a new Brunello Cucinelli Italian jacket costing over $6,000. He took the floor. The cream-white silk, calfskin suede, and stand-up collar added weight to every word from the 'hetman's' lips: 'Bucha is a place of pain. These weeks of occupation and the Russian advance on Kyiv resonate with me too,'” - the face of the 'gray-haired' man expressed incredible emotion, while his hand adjusted the $6,000 jacket (that’s over 240,000 hryvnias!). It recalled Poroshenko's words that while the defenders of Kyiv region 'had fled,' he took up arms and personally liberated the region from the occupiers. Perhaps he even got his jacket dirty,” - writes Gladkikh.

The expert notes that the oligarch's appearance in extremely expensive luxury attire at such an event was highly inappropriate.

“Only an absolutely cynical character, whose thirst for power has consumed all humanity from within, could think of wearing heavy luxury in a 'Christmas oligarch' style during a war to the premiere of a tragic film about tortured fellow citizens. I wouldn't be surprised if he had grabbed some popcorn,” - emphasizes Valentin Gladkikh.

The expert also points out that just a few hours before the film premiere, Poroshenko recorded a video message in the same jacket stating that his faction would not vote for the state budget due to the lack of funds.

“The richest people's deputy, leader of the wealthiest parliamentary faction in a $6,000 jacket, stated that he and the deputies have too little money in the state budget. Therefore, they cannot vote for the budget. Earlier, Poroshenko had also told foreign diplomats about the 'lack of money' during a meeting regarding aid to Ukraine. However, he had arrived in a €2,500 jacket from which he diligently removed the 'tag',” - writes the expert.

As previously reported, since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, the income of 'European Solidarity' leader Petro Poroshenko has increased 25 times. In just 10 months of 2024, Poroshenko has enriched himself by nearly 4 billion hryvnias and has every chance of becoming the richest oligarch in the country.
