In Zaporizhzhia, the head of a state enterprise was sentenced to 12 years in prison for collaborating with the occupiers.

Since the onset of armed aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of the Melitopol district, the director of the state enterprise of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS), which operated in the town of Yakymivka, voluntarily collaborated with the enemy.

A man has agreed to take on the role of director of the so-called "State Enterprise Experimental Farm 'AKIMOVSKOE'," which was established by the occupiers using the facilities of a Ukrainian agricultural enterprise they seized.

This information was reported by the press service of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office.

While managing the enterprise, the traitor handed over a complete agricultural property complex and other material resources to the occupying authorities.

Additionally, the man voluntarily ran for and was elected as a deputy from the political party "United Russia" to an illegally established local government body, actively participating in political events aimed at supporting the aggressor state.

He has been sentenced to 12 years in prison with property confiscation and deprived of the right to hold any positions in state authorities and local self-government for a period of 15 years.
