Orban met with Trump in Florida: what you need to know.
The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, met with newly elected US President Donald Trump. This meeting took place on Monday, December 9. Billionaire Elon Musk and Trump's future National Security Advisor, Congressman Mike Waltz, were also present at the meeting.
Orbán shared this information on social media platform X. Meanwhile, Trump has not yet commented on the meeting.

“USA today. The future has begun! A day in Mar-a-Lago with Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Mike Waltz!” – wrote the Hungarian Prime Minister, but he did not disclose any details.
It is known that the meeting took place at the newly elected US President's residence, Mar-a-Lago, in southern Florida. Orbán also published photos taken during his visit to the future American leader.
Trump's team has not officially commented on this meeting yet, but Elon Musk expressed his thoughts on it. He briefly wrote under Orbán's post: “Interesting discussion.”
Trump met with Zelensky in Paris
On December 7, Volodymyr Zelensky met in Paris with Donald Trump. The latter arrived in the French capital for the opening of the legendary Notre-Dame (Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris) wearing symbolic attire - the elected US leader donned a blue suit and a yellow tie. Following the meeting with Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that it was productive and that Trump was determined. According to Zelensky, peace through strength is possible. He added that the value of the meeting lay in the fact that partners heard Ukraine's clear position "not from third parties."
Zelensky also mentioned that the meeting with President Trump "was good," discussing particularly "important matters on the battlefield in Ukraine and the global situation - from our front to North Korea." However, this did not prevent the Ukrainian leader from rejecting the American's proposal for an immediate ceasefire in response to the statement that Ukraine was allegedly ready to negotiate with the RF.
