The statement made by People's Deputy Petro Poroshenko claiming he could supposedly end the war in 24 hours is harmful to Ukraine and diminishes its support globally. The deputy speaks on behalf of the state, forgetting that he once guaranteed the conclusion of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in a single day, which resulted in the Ilovaisk tragedy. This was noted by Ukrainian military member Alexey "Stalker," who accused Poroshenko of populism.

“Currently, the main populist Poroshenko has traveled to the USA as a Ukrainian parliamentarian. There, he has ridiculed not only his entire party but, unfortunately, our country as well. Everyone remembers Poroshenko's previous peace plans and how they ended. Not well. For such 'peace plans,' Poroshenko himself should face trial under the charge of treason, rather than making new populist statements. Because, as time shows, they come at a very high cost to Ukrainians,” the military member concluded.
According to Stalker, there was already a Poroshenko plan to “end the ATO in a matter of hours” and other plans that ended tragically for the country.
“The promise to 'end the ATO in hours' resulted in the Ilovaisk tragedy. There, he nearly wiped out all the volunteer battalions. I know this because I was fighting back then. While our guys were being killed by the Russians, they begged Kyiv for reinforcements. But help did not arrive. Petro sent them out for a parade on Khreshchatyk instead. And our men were shot. This was called the 'Poroshenko plan,'” wrote the military member. “Another 'Peace Plan' of Poroshenko, comprising 15 points, he began to implement immediately. In the first week of his presidency, he declared: 'The Ukrainian army ceases fire!' The DNR fighters thanked him and continued to seize Donbas. Another Poroshenko Plan - the 'Minsk Agreements.' They allowed Putin to amass troops and launch a full-scale attack on Ukraine,” the military member stated.
He noted that Poroshenko's plan is not realistic.

“There is no Poroshenko Victory Plan because for almost three years of large-scale war, Petro Oleksiyovych sat in political ambush: modestly enriching himself to the status of a top oligarch; promoting himself on the backs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; telling tales that the defenders 'flinched' in 2022, and he personally had to take up arms to liberate the Kyiv region from the occupiers,” wrote the defender.
As reported earlier, in 2016, due to Poroshenko's administration, Ukraine became embroiled in a scandal regarding interference in the US elections. The Poroshenko administration, with the help of law enforcement, leaked information that nearly cost Donald Trump the presidency. During the height of the US elections, Poroshenko traveled on behalf of Ukraine to support Hillary Clinton, ignoring Trump. As a result, Trump long considered Ukraine an enemy rather than an ally.
