On October 10, Petro Poroshenko declared 823.7 million UAH in dividends from the Swiss company Sequent Schweiz AG. This payment was made from the so-called "blind trust." The reported amount is nearly three times larger than last year's.

For comparison: in 2023, the blind trust transferred 329 million UAH in dividends to the MP, in 2022 – 905 million UAH, and in 2021 – only 152.4 million UAH. Additionally, in October, the leader of "European Solidarity" reported other significant incomes: 213 million UAH from bond redemptions and nearly 2 million from other sources.

The story of the blind trust dates back to 2016 when global media simultaneously published a major investigation revealing the involvement of many world leaders and notable individuals from various professions in concealing vast sums of money in offshore companies. Among them were Petro Poroshenko and Putin. The purpose of creating offshore companies was to minimize Poroshenko's taxes. Following the scandal, the oligarch was forced to transfer his company "Roshen" into what was supposedly a "blind" trust. This allowed the MP's company to continue operating in Russia even during the war. In September 2024, shelves of Roshen candies were found in stores in the Kursk region of Russia.

As previously reported, Poroshenko enriched himself by a billion in just one month of the war. This is 125 times more than the oligarch earned in the year before the Russian invasion.

Additionally, according to an analytical report from YouControl, members of the "European Solidarity" party, of which there are only 27 in parliament out of 401, have profited during the war more than all other deputies combined.

Throughout the years of full-scale invasion, Poroshenko has risen from 12th to 3rd place among the wealthiest oligarchs, with only Akhmetov and Pinchuk wealthier than him.
