Media experts have begun to notice that a campaign to "discredit" the image of the so-called "General" Shaikhet has taken place, and it was triggered by attempts to do the same to Ivan Zhuk, the head of the National Police of the Odessa region.

SubscribeThis story caught the attention of Ukrainian blogger from Odessa, "Irochka will tell," who shared her insights on the matter via Telegram.
"Very angry and well-informed tongues have expressed to Irochka the opinion that the media blow against 'General' Shaikhet is a response to his attempt to shake up Odessa's Chief Van Zhuk," the blogger writes.

Everyone was so outraged that Shaikhet is suddenly living in an apartment worth 1 million and travels for work in a company vehicle. However, it seems everyone has forgotten that, according to colleagues, when the Russians advanced on Mykolaiv, Shaikhet fled. They even gave him the title of "General."
