At the beginning of October, tenders were announced in the public procurement system Prozorro for amounts that many consider inappropriate, especially against the backdrop of reduced payments, pension cuts, and a lack of budget for military needs.

  1. Kyivteploenergo plans to spend over 7.4 million hryvnias on delivering bills to its consumers. This money will be used to send payments for heating and hot water until the end of 2025.

  2. Kyiv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance intends to purchase 28 training mannequins, allocating 9.52 million hryvnias for this purpose. The delivery of the mannequins is expected by the end of this year.

  3. Kyivteploenergo has also announced a tender for customer payment processing services. More than 149.2 million hryvnias have been allocated for these works, which will take place throughout 2025.

  4. Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv Region is looking for a contractor to repair a special site for the police. 16.42 million hryvnias have been allocated for this.

  5. National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) has announced a tender for the purchase of 30 shredders for document destruction. The expected cost of these shredders is 1.5 million hryvnias.

  6. Kyiv City Council plans to purchase new curtains for the office of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The first announcement mentions 16 roller blinds for 45 thousand hryvnias, while the second refers to 4 sets of curtains and tulle for 53 thousand hryvnias.

  7. Ministry of Justice of Ukraine plans to connect administrative buildings in Kyiv to generators, spending around 1.52 million hryvnias for this. The works are expected to be completed by the end of December.

  8. In the village of Chaiky repairs are planned for Aviakonstructor Antonov Street. A contractor has already been selected, and the work is to be completed by the end of 2024. The cost of the repairs will be 13.4 million hryvnias.
