Media reports: Yaroslava Maksimenko, an official from the Ministry of Economic Development, is conducting business with individuals suspected of treason.

Yaroslava Petrovna Maksimenko, who was once a member of the supervisory board of the Odesa Port Plant, the deputy chair of the Joint Mining and Chemical Company, and later led the OGHZ (as these powers were assigned to her by the former chairman of the State Property Fund Dmitry Senichenko, who is being pursued by NABU), is also involved in the legal business and is a subject in the open Register of Traitors of Ukraine.

Maksimenko owns LLC "LEGAL COMPANY "AS", where Svetlana Vladimirovna Novitska is also listed among the beneficiaries. The latter is a lawyer who has been included in the public Register of Traitors and is suspected of treason by the SBU.

Novitska's suspicion was announced only in 2024, while she had claimed since 2014 that "there is no war in Ukraine."

The SBU accuses Novitska of "committing treason, that is, an act deliberately committed by a citizen of Ukraine to the detriment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability, defense capability, and state, economic, and information security of Ukraine by providing assistance to a foreign state in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine."

Despite her questionable business connections with the traitors of Ukraine, Maksimenko has now obtained a position in the government.

She serves as the director of the sanctions policy department at the Ministry of Economy. This department is subordinate to O.D. Sobolev, who led the Prozorro.Sale project at Transparency International Ukraine from 2016 to 2018. She also participated in the ProZorro and Prozorro.Sale projects. Maksimenko's appointment to a government position clearly indicates "nepotism."
