By the way, Fomin also serves as his mother’s deputy in the charity organization "Faith. Hope. Love." This immediately raised the question: where did these "savings" come from?

The video sparked a strong reaction, as the organization provides assistance to displaced persons, veterans, and their families, with funding coming from international foundations. Rumors quickly spread that the money in Fomin's possession was intended for charitable purposes.

Fomin's mother, Tatyana Semikop, explained the situation to Intent as follows:

"This is revenge from a former partner. I've been living with this for two years. You wouldn't believe it, but she even wrote letters to the UN. I have another deputy chair of the fund. I’m frustrated that such actions harm the fund's reputation. As for him being in his underwear, who doesn’t walk around the house in their underwear? This is a personal matter. I believe that spreading such videos is a criminal offense."

Fomin also weighed in on the situation:

"The video is old, and I have been collecting money my whole life."

Ukrainians did not hold back in the comments on the video:

  • "I’ve been collecting my mom’s money my whole adult life."
  • "That disability was visible in his underwear. Poor thing. What a shame."
  • "I started saving from the maternity hospital."
  • "If a person is raised poorly, they won't become a rose..."
