A trilateral meeting has commenced in Paris involving French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump. This negotiation format has been officially confirmed by the French side. The historic gathering of the leaders is currently taking place at the Élysée Palace.

It is known that Trump arrived in Paris on the morning of December 7. His plane landed at Orly Airport around 9:00 AM Kyiv time. Before the trilateral talks began, he held a separate meeting with Macron. The French side had previously announced that the U.S. leader would first meet with Macron, followed by a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky. After these discussions, all three leaders participated in the inauguration ceremony of the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral.

During these talks, issues of security and countering Russian aggression were raised.
