In Vylnohirsk, a 19-year-old young man stole his colleague's car.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region reported this.

A report about the theft of a VAZ-21061 vehicle was received by the police on October 6. According to the investigators, at 8:00 AM, the owner parked the car near his workplace, and by around 12:00 PM, he discovered that it was missing.

The police worked the surrounding area, reviewed surveillance camera footage, and identified the car thief. It turned out to be a 19-year-old colleague of the victim.

Additionally, the operatives traced the route of the vehicle, which had left the city. They stopped the vehicle on one of the streets of Dnipro.

The suspect has currently been notified of charges under Part 1 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
