Kutateladze, who was elected in 2020, declared 1.3 million euros in a Polish Santander bank account, even though he had not previously kept funds in foreign banks before the full-scale war began.
The Kutateladze family is considered one of the wealthiest in the Odessa region. He began his career in the late 1980s in Odessa and co-founded a large stevedoring company, TIS, in 1994.

Alexey Myaskovsky, the director of the Odessa Sea Commercial Port, and his wife placed 320,000 dollars in a Polish account and recently purchased a minivan for 2.7 million hryvnias.
Additionally, judge of the Southwestern Appellate Economic Court Lyubov Lavrinenko moved to Canada after her resignation in 2023, where she transferred around 14.6 million hryvnias to local accounts.
Overall, during the full-scale war, Ukrainian officials and their families have transferred at least 7 billion hryvnias to accounts in European countries, with the largest amounts located in Poland and Austria.
