The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed that the process of establishing connections with Donald Trump's team, who won the elections in the United States, is ongoing. Specifically, the head of state confirmed the information regarding the upcoming visit of the Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, to the United States. The president also noted that he does not acknowledge any unofficial voices that are being heard in the media.
Zelensky made this statement during a press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, as reported by a correspondent from Ukrinform.
"I have had contacts with Donald Trump. I only understand direct contacts between presidents. As for the team, they have their own connections. Any unofficial voices at this moment that are being heard in the media, I do not acknowledge. Regarding the process of establishing contact between our teams, I am confident it will happen. As for the trip (to the U.S. – ed.), the Head of the President's Office will go," Zelensky stated.
It’s worth noting that Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen mentioned during the press conference in Kyiv that Denmark has already delivered six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Plans for further supplies remain unchanged.
