Ukraine continues to show solidarity with nations in need of assistance. As President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, 500 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour are already en route to Syria as part of the humanitarian program "Grain from Ukraine". This initiative has been implemented in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP).

In the coming weeks, 33,250 Syrian families will receive aid, which totals about 167,000 individuals. Each family will receive a package weighing 15 kg, sufficient to feed five people for a month.

"We wish safety, stability, and recovery for Syria and its people. We understand the true value of these things," Zelensky noted.

The president previously emphasized that the events in Syria serve as a significant example for the entire world. The overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime was made possible not only due to the actions of the opposition but also because a considerable portion of the Russian troops supporting the Syrian government are now concentrated in Ukraine.

"Today, the future of many regions of the world is being decided on Ukrainian soil. If Ukraine falls, Putin will return to Syria, Africa, and other regions to establish his regimes. Ukrainian success is a success for the whole world, a success that unites," Zelensky stressed.

The Fall of Assad's Regime: What It Means for Russia

The rapid collapse of the Syrian regime, supported by Russia since 2015, has dealt a serious blow to Moscow's geopolitical ambitions. The loss of key military bases and diminished influence in the Middle East complicate the Kremlin's efforts to create a multipolar world.

The disappearance of Assad's regime will weaken the Kremlin's ability to establish a "multipolar world" with Russia as a key player. The loss of influence on NATO's southern flank, logistical support issues, and loss of authority among authoritarian leaders in Africa and the Middle East will have a lasting impact.
