SubscribeHere’s an example of how to deliver nearly 700,000 letters without going bankrupt. "Khmelnytskyienergosbyt" signed a contract with "Ukrposhta" for the delivery of electricity bills. The deal amounts to nearly two million hryvnias. Sounds like a lot? In reality, delivering one bill will cost just 2.93 hryvnias.
For comparison: if you decided to send a letter through "Ukrposhta" yourself, the minimum cost would be 18 hryvnias. And "Nova Poshta" would charge at least 60 hryvnias for delivering a small parcel within the city. The key here is in bulk orders – the more letters, the cheaper it is for the company.
Additionally, "Ukrposhta" was the only participant in the tender. There were no other contenders willing to deliver bills for such a price. Interestingly, the previous attempt by "Khmelnytskyienergosbyt" to find a contractor completely failed – no one responded.

Considering that the contract expires on December 31 and the bills need to be delivered not only within the city but also across the region, this poses a significant logistical challenge. However, it seems "Ukrposhta" is confident in its capabilities.
With a cost of 2.93 hryvnias per letter, "Khmelnytskyienergosbyt" has clearly saved on mailing expenses. Nonetheless, the question remains: why not consider options for electronic delivery? In the age of digitization, paper bills no longer appear to be the most modern approach.
