A criminal case has been opened in Zaporizhzhia for animal cruelty after a kitten was thrown out of a window.
Today, October 9th, around 2:10 PM, a resident of Zaporizhzhia contacted the police to report that an unknown individual had thrown a kitten out of a window of a high-rise building in the Khortytsia district.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhia region.
The investigative team examined the scene, retrieved the animal's body, and interviewed the complainant, witnesses, and residents of the building.
Preliminary findings suggest that a 51-year-old man may be involved in the commission of the criminal offense.
Information regarding the case of animal cruelty has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations. Investigative actions are ongoing.
