The Dnipro police have launched a criminal investigation into the obstruction of journalists' lawful work and the assault on an activist.
On October 23, the police received a report regarding the obstruction of journalists' lawful professional activities in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Dnipro during a session of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council.

Investigators have opened a criminal case regarding this incident under Part 1 of Article 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (interference with the lawful professional activities of journalists).
Additionally, based on the activist's statement, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (beatings and torture).
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
