However, it turned out that the company's management found a way to avoid transferring these funds to the government. This was stated by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, writes the Ministry of Energy.

According to the deputy, "Energoatom" is "pushing through" a new financial plan via the government with the help of the Ministry of Energy. In this plan, the company's net income for the year amounts to only 394 million hryvnias, while dividends for the state are merely 118.5 million hryvnias.

The deputy also explained where the funds from the tariff increase might have gone.

"The answer is simple – 'Energoatom' organized a revaluation of its assets, and on paper, the money simply vanished. In other words, the increase in tariffs actually brought nothing to the budget. The government approved these changes, indicating that these billions were needed not by the state, but by entirely different parties," the deputy reports.

It should be noted that the increase in electricity tariffs for the population in Ukraine started on June 1. However, according to official reports, the tariff will remain unchanged in December – 4.32 hryvnias per kWh.

This situation has caused significant public outcry, as societal expectations regarding budget replenishment were not met. Despite the substantial increase in tariffs, the government received negligible dividends from "Energoatom's" activities.
