Detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine have announced charges against the deputy director of a municipal enterprise under the Dnipro City Council for the misappropriation of budget funds.

It has been established that a municipal enterprise, in accordance with the "Program for Supporting the Territorial Defense of the City of Dnipro 2022-2026," was supposed to purchase Starlink to ensure uninterrupted communication.
An official, abusing his position, acquired the equipment at inflated prices. Such actions resulted in losses of 1.8 million UAH to the state budget.
Law enforcement officers conducted over 20 searches and seized documents, notebooks with rough notes, mobile phones, and computers. Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.
