Zaporizhzhia police seized methamphetamine worth 100,000 hryvnias from a local resident.

Law enforcement received intelligence indicating that a 37-year-old man might be involved in drug trafficking within the city. The police carried out a series of operations, documented the illegal activities of the individual, and determined that he was selling drugs to addicted clients through direct hand-to-hand exchanges.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region reported this.

A search was conducted at the residence of the suspect, resulting in the seizure of approximately 45 grams of a crystalline substance (preliminarily identified as methamphetamine), nearly 25 grams of a plant-based substance (preliminarily identified as cannabis), electronic scales, packaging bags, a mobile phone, a smoking device, and 7600 hryvnias, likely obtained through criminal means.

The suspect has currently been informed of the charges for committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
