SubscribeThe Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, earned nearly 740 thousand hryvnias in the first nine months of 2024. This amount includes not only his salary but also business trips, bonuses, and various allowances.
Senkevych's base salary is not particularly high – between 7 to 20 thousand hryvnias per month. However, due to various allowances and bonuses, the mayor's income soars to 58-90 thousand hryvnias monthly.

Additionally, Senkevych has taken leave three times this year – in February, March, and August – earning an extra 42 thousand hryvnias for that. On top of that, he receives payments for his title, length of service, work with classified documents, and academic degree.
Thus, Senkevych receives:
- Allowance for his title,
- Payments for length of service,
- Compensation for working with confidential documents,
- Bonus for academic degree.
Of course, such income for the mayor appears impressive against the backdrop of the situation in the city, where people struggle to survive on small salaries and pensions. Hearing about such amounts in bonuses and business trips raises questions for many.
