A 57-year-old assailant has been arrested by Kryvyi Rih police for severely injuring an acquaintance.

The incident occurred on October 15 at approximately 3:30 PM in a private residence located in the Ternevskiy district of the city. According to investigators from Police Station No. 5 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department, a conflict arose between two men, resulting in the 60-year-old victim sustaining serious bodily injuries. He was hospitalized at the city hospital for medical assistance.

The weapon used in the crime, a hammer, has been confiscated.

The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On October 16, investigators informed the offender of the suspicion regarding Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional severe bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
