According to him, the Kremlin chief currently has no plans to congratulate Trump. At the same time, he stated that it is not possible to end the war in Ukraine "in one night" – this was his reaction to the Republican's promises to conclude all wars.

His remarks were reported by Russian media. Peskov also mentioned that there are no friendly relations between Russia and the USA.

“Ending the 'Ukrainian conflict' in one night is impossible,” said Putin's press secretary, commenting on Trump's speech.

He labeled the USA as an unfriendly country towards Russia, asserting that it is "directly involved in the war." At the same time, he claimed that it is impossible to worsen relations between the states.

“Putin has repeatedly confirmed his readiness for dialogue, while the USA currently shows the opposite stance… The USA fuels and adds fire to the 'Ukrainian conflict', yet they could contribute to its resolution,” added Putin's aide.

He also stated that after January 2025, when Trump's inauguration takes place, it will become clear whether the United States will change its foreign policy trajectory regarding Ukraine. Furthermore, he claimed that Russia did not interfere in the American elections.

According to The Hill, Donald Trump secured a sufficient number of votes. Preliminary results from Fox News, a channel that supports Republicans, indicate that Trump is gaining 277 electoral votes, thus ensuring victory in the elections.

Volodymyr Zelensky has already congratulated him. According to him, Ukraine is interested in developing mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation. Additionally, he appreciates the Republican's commitment to the approach of "peace through strength."
